He established a brand and profitable business selling technologically advanced skincare products featured in People Magazine without medical credibility and brand positioning, packaged up in a pretty red box and got taken seriously.
Acquired the brand in its infancy and as CEO, Scott led the global development of all marketing and strategy; overseeing execution of all brand and business initiatives. Recruited key talent and implemented an outsourced operating structure to remain competitive and profitable. Leveraged product innovation and media coverage to cost-effectively compete, gain market share, and drive sales and profits.
Developed an award winning brand and profitable company resulting in a distribution footprint of +6000 doors globally and $150MM+ in retail sales by 2008 from 1 door / 1 sku and $150K retail sales in 2004. Developed a multi-tier, multi channel distribution network in +30 countries. Established industry and category leadership position using a hero product strategy leveraged to plant the brand, launch new products, and grow pipeline revenue. Created a number of industry firsts including the first ever wash on SPF, OTC Botox alternative, OTC lip plumper and more, all of which garnered he industry and media’s top accolades for redefining the cosmeceutical category.
